NGate Business Innovation and Technology Hub at An-Najah National University kicked off the first Hard of Hearing hackathon in Palestine in partnership with Girls in Tech and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Fifty students from medical, engineering and audiology, and speech sciences departments joined physically and over zoom. The hackathon focused on hard of hearing and how Artificial intelligence is used to provide solutions.
Dr. Mona Nabil Demaidi the Director of NGate emphasized the importance of social entrepreneurship and how it helps students develop solutions that contribute to the SDGs.
